SATURDAY

supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

This morning we caught the subway down to Canal st and got our names painted like buildings on a poster, they look amazing and it only too the man 5 minutes! So amazing!

Then after a little confusion about which subway we needed to get back (third times the charm!) had lunch in Times Square, and we won the Rock Of Ages lottery (twice) and had pretty good seats for the almost sold out show! It was alot of fun and the dancers in it we're so talented!

We shopped for groceries and went home to make dinner, then we we're off to Cherry Tree Lane :) Tonight we had the real Mary Poppins Laura Michelle Kelly and she was so perfect for the role, 'step in time' is still my favorite song so clever!! Around this time of year Broadway shows participate in the charity "Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS" and they sell special show specific merchandise after the performance to raise funds, and at Mary Poppins they sold backstage tours to meet the cast so we bought it and it was so worth it!

FRIDAY

...and Hayley is the HERO of the hour! After an epic struggle around midnight we are mouse freeeeeeee!

Back to the morning though, we started the day with a walk around Central Park. The trees are getting prettier every day and there we're leaves everywhere, so lovelyyy!!

We then stopped at this cute little health food shop for lunch, before walking downtow to Kmart (stopping at a few little shops and Bryant Park) to find extra luggage...hehe. Then we caught the Subway back home and made chicken korma (without the chicken) for dinner.

Then we got super rugged up -because the temprature today was soooo much cooolder than yesterday, and walked down to see Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, which was actually pretty hilarious.

Which brings us to the mouse. Which is now out of our house, thanks to Hayley who braved the kitchen and the transportation from the apartment to the basement...she is my hero ♥

And now, off to bed :) gooodnight Xx

THURSDAY

Where so many roam to
We'll call it home, too...
...just posting some letters in the mailbox :D

This morning we walked downtown (through the gale force winds!!!) to the Rockefeller plaza and caught the end of an ice-skating show, which was abit fun :)

When we sat down for lunch we we're approached by some NBC employeeswho asked us if we we're 18 would bwe like to be a part of the studio audience for Dr. OZ (a popular 'health doctor' show here in the US) so we said yes and went on in! Little did we know that it was a 'Shocking Sex Special' not exactly our cup of tea :| but at least it was cool to see how the show is produced first hand...haha!

Then we walked home, made pasta for dinner and got all dressed up ready for WICKED!!

It was amazing, I loved Mandy and Katies (Elphaba and Galinda) characterisation (especially for you Dad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd0bv9UktBQ because I know its your favorite bit, make sure your watching closley when she tells her secret!) I laughed, and cried. TRUELY WICKED!! Plus got to chat a bit with boq -who is the biggest cutie, and Elphie again :D

And to top it all off we watched the latest Grey's Anatomy :) wonderful, wonderful.
Goodnight Xx

WEDNESDAY

We doubled up today!

Started off by walking down to Times Square and getting ($31.50!!!) tickets to Mamma Mia matinee. It was super humid today, only slightly raining but the temprature would have to have been high 20's!!

Before the show we shopped in Forever21 for about two hours and walked out $150 poorer (uh-ohhh), and grabbed a quick smoothie at Macca's and went to the show. Mamma Mia was so much fun -almost exactly the same as the movie!

We then had another few hours before Phantom tonight so we went back to Forever21 -because you see the store goes down underground 3 levels (so thats four in total) and we only managed to cover 2 earlier. Walked out another $150 poorer (but I promise I was saving oh so much more, promise!) and then went to McDonalds for dinner!

Phantom was amazing, the show was fantastic and I loved every second -still feeling sorry for the Phantom in the end, pooor fellow :(
And I think i'll be needing a new bag (or two) for the trip home! Haha

TUESDAY

My poor savings ;p I spent SOOO much money today!

After a massive sleep-in, which was much needed after such a MASSIVE first week we all walked downtown to K-mart where there was a massive sale on all costumes (so I cant wait till the post Halloween sales! YAYYY) and picked up a few bits and pieces. We then went to Boarders to checkout their box sets (and ended up with 3 New seasons to add to my collections) it's amazing how much furthur ahead America is when it comes to Television series etc.

After buying some $1 pizza, which is as big as a plate!! We went (and won) the In The Heights Lottery, putting me front and centre for the show, which was FANTASTIC again, such a cool musical, and the dancing is so great.

Fingers crossed we'll fit in two musicals tomorrow, we've already got tickets to Phantom tomorrow night, I'm SUPER excited!!

P.S Stalked the red carpet of 'Rain' which opened tonight, managed to catch a glimpse of Chris Brown -who by the way is extremely tall!

P.P.S we still have a mouse in our house :( and its definatley not winning any friends! After keeping us up by running around it refuses to run onto our various traps (we now have FOUR!) but lastnight it hopped into bed with Hayley :( so pray I have a lonely sleep tonight! I warned the thing if it so much as comes near my bed not only will it die a terrible death it will also be deaf, because I will scream, so loud!

Hopefully goodnight everyone Xx

MONDAY

It is so HOT tonight, crazyyy!!

This morning we went for a bike ride around Central Park, it was so beautiful, because its 'fall' all the trees are changing colour and loosing their leaves...picture perfect.

And it must have been a good day for the park because both Taylor Swift and Bono we're there too! Haha!

Then we went shopping in Times Square spending aloooot of money! Grabbed a slice of Chocolate Moose Cheesecake from Junior's. Topping off the day with dinner at Planet Hollywood :) which was massive and delicious!

Now we're trying to have an early night, our New York passes expired today...so thats the end of our massive tourist attraction filled days, prepare yourself bank account -I'll be hitting you hard from now on ;) haha!!

Gooodnight all Xx

SUNDAY

What a day!
This morning we met up with our friends Amanda and Sara (who we met in Philly at the concert, then went to Bethlehem to 'Thrill the World' with...) then we we're met by a mob of marching gingerbread men, haha!
We then went to the box office to buy tickets for Next to Normal -$41.50! Bargin!! So we went to John's Pizzeria place for lunch, America is crazy -get this, their normal pizza is just plain cheese, hawiian is werid for them haha! And we spent the whole time discussing cricket, or more trying to explain cricket, and meat pies!
After shopping around at the Sunday markets in Times Square we watched Next to Normal -such a deep musical, but still amazing. The acting was outstanding, I was tearing up the whole time...so good!
Then we all went for dinner (Italian, YUM!) and met Sara's good friend Bob and ended up hanging out with them all night, had so much fun! Just hanging out, talking about EVERYTHING and laughing non-stop. Best American friends ever :D we are so lucky, they are the coolest!!
My favorites!!! Amanda, Sara, and Bob :) who have got me addicted to chocolate covered pretzels! YAYYYYYYY!!
