THURSDAY

Sorry this is a little later than usual, I had to do an assessment for Equip lastnight...but don't worry you won't miss anything I promise!
In the morning we went to NBC studios to book a tour, but they we're all booked out till 3:30! So we purchased those and then walked down to Madame Tussauds :) of which we have about 500000 pictures, so enjoy!!

We then had lunch in Times Square, it was such a beautiful day
Then we toured NBC studios, which did not allow photo's :( but it was great to see some behind the scenes action from American TV studios

As the sun was setting we climbed the Empire State! The view was the most amazing thing, i cannot describe how beautiful the Manhattan skyline is a night, so magical!!

And to finish off the day perfectly we went to Memphis the musical, which was fantastic! The dancers we're totally amazing :D

  1. Hey Britty
when will i read we decided to have a day where we did nothing?? haha
I love your photos with all those famous people! They all look so happy to sit (or stand) and give you their time. And i see Elvis was up for a dance with you (how do you stand on your toes like that?!)
Conference finished yesterday afternoon, we had duinner with some of the local staff and we are off home this afternoon...which i am very much looking forward too.
I think a Manhattan sunset on canvas on your wall would be nice..it will be just trying to pick your favourite photo to have printed!!
Thanks again for the updates, we're loving them and we love you too. Mum xx

  2. I knew that you would love Madame Tusauds, Jack and I were in there for hours, I think we met, and had our photo taken with, every single one of those celebrities ha ha.
It looks like you were nearly blown off the Empire State Building!! Amazing view and history!!
As you would understand Mum connected with one of the nicest staff, Lisa, down here in Hobart and she drove us up to the top of Mt Wellington and then invited us for dinner with her family down in the market area. It was nice to have a "normal" dinner with "normal" people.
Met somebody you (and Gray) would love today and Mum bought you the book, Li Cunxin "Maos Last Dancer" you can google him.
Love you heaps and miss you Say hi to the yellow M&M for me next time your at the square ha ha xxx
